Zigzag Hemmer Foot #63 saves work and time, and gives a neat, strong decorated hem in a single operation. When working with this foot the fabric is fed into a scroll, which turns the edge under twice. This prevents the fabric from fraying later. The guide holds together the turned hem until it reaches the needle.

The fabric edge is then sewn with a zigzag or decorative stitch into a narrow, sturdy hem which advances easily under the foot.

Zigzag Hemmer Foot #63 is ideal for hemming fine fabrics. What’s more, it can sew on decorative lace edges in the same operation, allowing you to produce elegant hems on home furnishings and garments.
