PURCHASING FABRICS ONLINE
Prices indicated for fabrics are for either a Fat Quarter, half-metre or a panel, as stated individually for each fabric. (Note, fabric panels vary in size.; the size is therefore stated for each individual panel. Our images show one complete panel. We only sell panel fabrics in complete panels; simply enter the number of panels you require)
To get a Fat Quarter, the fabric is cut at 50cm and then slit half way along the width. A Fat Quarter is therefore 50cm x 55cm (approx) in size.
Multiple units of fabric* will be cut in one continuous piece, unless otherwise stated. To ensure continuity of the fabric, orders of 3 or more Fat Quarters will actually be supplied as a combination of fat and thin quarters. (*This includes wadding, stabilisers, felt, interfacings/interlinings and other items sold by the length).

Online Only fabrics
In order to facilitate prompt dispatch of online orders, some fabrics are stored at a different location and are not available for viewing in our Exeter shop. These are marked as "Online Only" in their website image and description, and are available for online purchases only,
Sale fabrics
All our Sale fabrics (excepting panels, as stated individually) are sold as a half metre minimum, and in multiples of half a metre. We do not sell our sale fabrics in fat quarter or quarter metre amounts.
Our Sale items often sell quickly and are not replaced in stock. We aim to update our website as soon as possible, but if your ordered item is no longer available we will contact you. You will then have the option to cancel your order. You are welcome to telephone or email us if you would like to check availability before placing an order for Sale fabrics.
Multibuy offers
Multibuy fabric offers will be for online purchases only, and will have the offer applied to the cheapest products of all those eligible in the order. For example in a "buy 4 get cheapest one free" offer, if four half-metres of one eligible fabric and four fat quarters of another eligible fabric of a different price are purchased, the two cheapest eligible fat quarters/half-metres in the entire order will be free.
Pre-order fabrics
Payment for pre-order fabric is made in full at the time of ordering.
Pre-orders must be placed separately to stock items, and separate to pre-orders for other collections/items.
The dates given in the item descriptions are estimated arrival dates only, and are subject to change at any time. If you are placing a pre-order please be advised that the estimated delivery date may not always be accurate and that any delays at the distributor level are out of our control. Once you have placed a pre-order, we will of course keep you updated with regards to any delays that we are informed of.
Pre-orders are not subject to cancellation or refund. Fabric is ordered based on pre-orders and as such is not eligible for cancellation or refund.
Please update us if your address changes between the date of ordering and the date of dispatch of the pre-order. We accept no responsibility for goods delivered to incorrect addresses for this reason. Please email [email protected] to inform us of any changes.
Licensed Fabrics
All fabrics featuring film and television characters, and figures from literature, are licensed prints. This includes Disney, Marvel and Peter Rabbit™ fabrics. Licensed fabrics are generally for personal use only. If you purchase these to make products for sale, you may face legal action from the owners of the copyright. You should therefore do your own research if you do intend to do this. We do not hold any responsibility for customers who choose to use fabric s purchased from us against the terms of the license.
General Fabric Information
All patchwork fabrics listed on our website are 100% cotton with a width of 106-114cm (42"-44") unless stated otherwise. Washing Instructions (unless otherwise stated): Machine wash cold 30°c. Normal cycle with like colours. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low.
All items sold by the half-metre or metre - including fabrics, needle craft fabrics, felt, waddings, stabilisers, interfacings and interlinings - will be sent folded.
While the colour reproduction of the fabrics is a close representation (where possible we use pictures provided by the manufacturer or supplier), we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you. Images in our online shop should be used as a guide only.
