The new Atelier 3 is designed for every type of sewing - general sewing projects, home furnishings, fashion, patchwork & quilting. It has h a great range of 150 stitches, including a choice of 7 styles of buttonholes, plus an alphabet. It offers 71 needle positions, stitch length and width are variable, and there is a function to memorise stitch and alphabet combinations. Just flip open the machines’ top cover to view the huge variety of 7mm wide stitch styles available, the new 68 x 25.5mm colour character LCD screen makes selection easy.

This machine has a large work area – 210mm (8.25”) to the right of the needle and 120mm (4.7”) vertical space – plenty of room for rolling up large quilts!

The  Superior Feed Plus (SFS+) system features a unique 7 piece feed dog system, which maintains constant contact with the fabric for better control, whether sewing forward or backward. The convertible free arm makes it easy to sew cuffs, trouser legs and hard to reach areas of various projects. You can pivot on corners with the needle up/down feature. And you can add a knee lifter (additional purchase) using the machine's port.

Use the maximum sewing speed control for precision work and to help you gain confidence. Thread the needle with built-in threader, trim off threads with the built-in automatic thread cutter scissors button … everything you need to make your sewing easier and more enjoyable. Plus, there is an extra wide table for those larger projects.
