The 495 Liberty Edition has 1027 total stitch patterns, including 32 exclusive Liberty decorative stitches, 282 decorative stitches, 29 utility stitches, 28 quilting stitches, and 11 buttonholes, and comes with 8 presser feet

The Bernina Free Hand System lets you lift or lower the presser foot using only the knee lifter, keeping your hands free to guide your projects.

Thanks to the automatic thread cutter, your threads are cut automatically and the needle lifts leaving your hands free to keep on creating as easily and quickly as you like. The presser foot pressure can be adjusted, ensuring the ideal pressure is always used for whatever fabrics and materials you choose. The sewing speed (up to 900 stitches per minute) is managed by a sliding control. The Bernina Hook keeps stitches consistent and precise.

The 495 Liberty Edition is also Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR) enabled, giving you the option to extend your possibilities in the future.
