The B790 Ultra gives an elevated embroidery experience from the very first stitch. The Embroidery Module is enhanced by Bernina stitchprecision2 Technology for faster performance and exceptional stitch quality. The Bernina Hook sews high-precision stitches up to 9 mm in width with speeds up to 1,000 stitches per minute. The front loading, easy access Jumbo Bobbin holds up to 70% more thread than standard bobbins, allowing you to sew and embroider longer.

The Bernina Integrated Stitch Regulator (BISR) on the B 790 Ultra ensures perfectly even stitch lengths for all quilting applications including ruler work. It is fully compatible with all Bernina quilting presser feet and works seamlessly in all BSR modes.

Start and stop editing
Push the boundaries of your computerised quilting by visualising and adjusting the Start and Stop of Customisable Quilt Designs. Arrange designs to fit your quilt by flipping the position of the start and stop points, select multiple designs and match the start and stop points to create endless quilting designs with one touch.

Design Alignment
Easily align and distribute embroidery designs horizontally and vertically. Use Multi-line Lettering and Text Alignment to personalize your text placement. With the line break, lettering of up to 10 lines is possible.

More editing possibilities
You can replicate and arrange designs, including imported stitches, into circles, squares, stars, hearts, arches and more to create your own bespoke patterns. While editing, simply undo or redo steps, change the stitchout sequence or refine layers using Group, Ungroup and Rearrange. With Endless Embroidery, you can repeat and align motifs perfectly to form continuous borders.

Embroider sewing stitches in BQM format
Selected stitches are now available in BQM format. This allows you to modify, and integrate your decorative stitches seamlessly into computerised quilting projects with ultra precision

Shape Designer
Easily replicate a design – including imported stitches – multiple times and arrange them in your desired shape to create a bespoke pattern. Whether in a circle, square, rectangle, star, heart, arches and more, the possibilities with the Shape Designer are endless.

Colour Wheel
Change designs easily and coordinate to your favourite colour scheme before you start embroidering. Alter the hue and saturation of a design on screen, translate the on‑screen colours to thread colours and convert your colours to alternative thread brand libraries.

Endless Embroidery
Easily repeat and align embroidery designs to make continuous borders. Designs can be fine‑tuned to the spacing desired and verified with stitched placement arrows.

Automatic Needle Threader
The Automatic Needle Threader helps you get started with a different thread. From a needle size of 70, the upper thread can be automatically threaded into standard embroidery needles. Simply push a button and watch the machine thread the needle.

WiFi Connectivity and BERNINA Stitchout App
Since WiFi is enabled on the B 790 Ultra, you can transfer designs from your BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 (optional) directly to the machine, or vice versa. And thanks to the new BERNINA Stitchout App, the embroidery process can be monitored on your smartphone remotely
