The Bernina 700e PRO is a fast and powerful embroidery-only machine. It comes with the Bernina embroidery unit L(SDT)  (for the 7 and 8 series) included. The B 790e PRO features the next generation BERNINA stitchprecision²  Technology that makes your sewing, quilting and embroidery experience quieter, more precise, and joyful. Swiss innovations allow for superior stitch quality and up to 33% higher SDT embroidery speed.

The machine's extended freearm offers 10” to the right of the needle, handling the largest of projects with ease, and a large embroidery area of 15.7” x 8.3” (available when using the optional Maxi Hoop) helps you bring your embroidery ideas to life. Bernina’s small, medium and large embroidery hoops are included, and the machine will automatically recognise the hoop and stitch out area. The multiple spool holder holds up to 15 spools, enabling quick access to threads of different colours. 30 LED lights ensure your working area is well-illuminated at all times.

The B 700e offers 500 built-in embroidery designs, 25 embroidery alphabets and 76 customizable quilt designs, and will embroider at up to 1000 stitches per minute. You can combine alphabets with embroidery or even create curved lettering effects. A large range of optional embroidery accessories and software are available to purchase, so the machine can grow with your expertise.

Enhanced editing functions allow you to realise your ideas directly on screen and use your creativity to create new designs. Shape Designer and lock scaling are new to the 700e Pro. Shape Designer lets you easily replicate a design – including imported stitches – multiple times and arrange them in your desired shape to create a bespoke pattern. Whether in a circle, square, rectangle, star, heart, arches and more, the possibilities with the Shape Designer are endless. Specialised embroidery functions include pinpoint placement, undo/redo, endless embroidery, thread away, group/ungroup, invisible/smart secure, Colour Wheel, stitch density alteration and many more. You can mirror, rotate, combine and resize motifs.

Guidance (including suggestions for needle size/type, thread and stabiliser) is available via the Creative Embroidery Consultant software. You can transfer to and from embroidery software via WiFi, and the 700e Pro is compatible with the Bernina Stitchout App. . All this control is close to hand and easy to use, with the large, intuitive touch screen and multi-function knobs on the front of the machine, and you can save and retrieve your personal designs and settings.

The Bernina Hook system keeps every stitch consistent and precise. It incorporates a jumbo bobbin that holds up to 70% more thread than standard bobbins, which means fewer stops and starts with your sewing. And since it is conveniently changed from the front, there’s no need to remove your project.

The automatic thread cutter is another useful function of the B700e Pro, cutting the thread and raising the needle in an easy one-button operation. Adaptive Thread Tension ensures high quality stitching with any fabrics. An automatic upper and lower thread indicator alerts you of a thread breakage. The practical Thread Away mode is a swift movement if the hoop that pulls most of the upper thread tails to the underside for clean embroidery results on the top. Whereas the Thread-Up Command will make the machine lower and raise the needle bringing the bobbin thread to the top of the fabric so you can secure the threads manually, allowing you to achieve clean results at the click of a button

Adaptive Thread Tension
The Bernina Adaptive Thread Tension system ensures the ideal thread tension as you sew, helping you to achieve perfect stitch quality on both sides of the fabric. After you set the thread tension for the thread and fabric, your machine continuously checks it as you sew, adjusting it unobtrusively and automatically whenever necessary, resulting in the finest sewing and embroidery quality, with no need to even press a button.

Smart Drive Technology

Pinpoint Placement
Placing embroidery perfectly is easy on the B700e. Simply select two points on the screen and match them with the markings on the hooped fabric. Your design is automatically aligned, rotated, resized and positioned  to fit. No additional tools/templates are needed, and you have full visibility of the hooped fabric at all times.

Thread Away mode
Thread Away mode is a swift movement of the hoop that pulls most of the upper thread tails to the underside for clean embroidery results on the top

Invisible Secure & Smart Secure
Invisible Secure makes the perfected tie-on/off fomration completely invisible while Smart Secure adds tie-on/off stitches if none are pre-programmed. It's like having your own embroidery fairy!

On-screen design editing, with assistance
The B700e allows design edits directly on the screen during embroidery. Rotate, mirror, combine and rearrange with a simple touch of the screen. Colour Wheel
