Janome's  Continental M8 Professional has everything you need for top quality quilting and sewing.This incredibly sturdy, powder coated metal, seamless flatbed machine provides an expansive sewing area with 343mm (13.5”) to the right of the needle and a spacious height of 140mm (5.51”). It has the most powerful penetration and needle piercing capabilities in home sewing.

It has Auto One-Touch Needle Plate Conversion with 3 plates included (zigzag, straight & HP Professional).  While the professional grade HP Needle Plate and HP2 AcuFeed options allow you to piece with precise ¼" seams. The AcuFeed Flex Plus layered fabric feeding system gives flawless feeding.

Utilize the HP and HP2 narrow gauge industrial-type feet for curves and precise topstitching. They provide great ease of control and superior visibility. Sized perfectly for creating ¼” seams, achieve accurate stitches and perfect starts on any type of fabric.

Floating Mode makes sewing over thick seams a breeze, and Mirage Stitch creates the illusion of standalone decorative stitches. And the extension table has a handy storage drawer.

The CM8P comes standard with the A.S.R. (Accurate Stitch Regulator™) Janome Accurate Stitch Regulator System  so that all of your free-motion needs are covered. With the added benefit of being able to set the sensitivity of the sensor; you can adjust the regulation as your skills build. The A.S.R. includes four feet: closed-toe, open toe, clear view, and the exclusive ruler work foot - this ensures that every quilting stitch you make is perfect.
