The Large Buttonhole Foot and Stabilizer Plate can create button holes for buttons that are 1 to 2 inches in diameter on most fabrics.

The buttonhole foot comes with a Stabilizer Plate which is particularly useful for thicker fabrics such as those used for coats and jackets as it helps to feed the fabric smoothly and evenly to achieve neat even buttonholes.

The standard buttonhole foot can only accommodate buttons under 1” inch in diameter. The new large buttonhole foot and stabilizer plate can create buttonholes for buttons that are 1" - 2" (25-50mm) in diameter
