The Bernette 33 mechanical sewing machine is the perfect model for beginners. Its simple operation makes it easier to learn the basics of sewing. This machine is durable and robust with excellent stitch quality and all the functions a beginner will need. All the stitches can be selected and settings adjusted by turning the two knobs on the front of the machine. The Bernette 33 offers 14 stitches plus a 4-step buttonhole, and has a maximum stitch width of 5 mm. Stitch length is adjustable.

The automatic bobbin winder, needle threader and the manual thread cutter make it quick and easy to get started. This machine can manage even thick or heavy layers of fabric with ease, as the 2-step foot lift provides extra space under the presser foot. And thanks to its excellent piercing power you can sew through several layers with ease. You can even convert this machine to a free-arm configuration, useful for sewing cuffs, trousers or small items, by removing the accessory storage box

5 different snap-on presser feet are included with this machine making it the perfect starting point for new sewers.
