The Baby Lock Desire₃ combines overlocking, cover stitch and chain stitch capabilities in one compact and versatile machine. Overlocking trims and binds seams so fabric cannot unravel. Cover stitching hems and finishes stretch and knit fabrics in an elastic and durable way. This 5 thread machine can easily be converted to either operation., allowing you to create almost any type of fashion!

Baby Lock have made it so easy to thread the loopers using their JetAir™ system. Insert the desired looper thread into the port, push the lever down and a gust of air pushes your thread to the tip of the looper. This applies to all three looper threads, meaning you can be ready to sew in no time. You choose the threading order, and you no longer need to follow coloured threading points or start again from the beginning because of a threading error. The Desire₃ features a unique, compact tubular looper system that guarantees fuss-free, quick threading. Extra-strong loopers in a quality similar to that used in industry make your Desire₃ fit for more difficult tasks

Tension adjustment is handled by the Automatic Thread Delivery™ system, making it easy to produce professional results on any fabric, using any threads. Perfectly balanced stitches can be achieved without relying on luck. You simply choose a stitch, set the ATD accordingly and start sewing. Your Baby Lock Desire₃ uses its three sensors (stitch length, stitch width and fabric thickness) to deliver exact;y the right amount of thread to produce perfectly balanced stitches on the thinnest of thickest fabrics.

Unwanted puckering or wavy seams in stretch and fine fabrics can be a problem, but the Desire3’s differential feed allows you to adjust the feed to prevent these issues. You can also use the desire3's differential feed to produce fanciful gathering or stretching effects

The Baby Lock Desire₃ lets you adjust the stitch width quickly and easily. You can deactivate the cutter quickly and easily with a switch if you want to sew closed or tube-like pieces of clothing. The same switch reactivates the cutter whenever you need it. The cutter is not fully retracted and you can use it as a guide

No more tiresome searching for the correct Desire₃ accessory. The handy accessory compartment under the thread spool holder contains all important tools. And LED lighting illuminates your work as you stitch.
