Aurifil’s Wool 12wt thread is a soft blend of 50% acrylic and 50% wool. Use this thread when you want to create texture or visually pleasing details. It works beautifully for hand embroidery and can be used for machine quilting, using a topstitch needle. It comes in 192 colours and is wound on a red spool.

Recommended Uses:

Single or Double Strand Cross Stitch, Hand Embroidery, Machine Appliqué, Machine Quilting, Lower Looper Serging

Machine Needle Recommendations:

100/16 or 90/14 Topstitch (Aurifil recommend putting 40wt or 50wt in the bobbin)
