The Bernina L460 overlocker lets you cut, sew and finish in one operation, producing seams and hems of the highest stitch quality, from fine rolled hems to wide decorative edges.

It offers a choice of 16 2/3/4 thread stitch variations including rolled hemming. The automatic needle stop up ensures the needles and loopers are always in the correct position. The patented Micro Thread Control (MTC) system means you only need to set thread tension once, even if you alter cutting width and fabric thickness, meaning you save time while still ensuring consistent high quality stitches. It makes over-the-edge loops disappear with the flip of a lever, giving you professional looking seams and finished edges.

The Bernina Foot Control and DC motor allow an amazing top speed of up to 1,500 stitches per minute, but also facilitates stitch by stitch sewing. This makes it easy to work with delicate or heavy fabrics that require extra care in handling.

With the Bernina Free Hand System (FHS) you can easily raise and lower the presser foot with your knee, leaving both hands free to stay on and guide your fabric. You will save time and achieve perfect results!

Thanks to the differential feed, you can enjoy wave-free seams in stretch fabrics and pucker-free seams in fine fabrics, and even gives you the possibility of creating gathers and ruffles.

The manual Needle Threader allows for easy and ergonomic threading. It is simple to thread the lower looper thanks to the lower looper threader. The color-coded threading path and the handwheel positioning window help you thread quickly. For your convenience, there is a thread cutter on the left cover.

The Bernina L460 offers great sewing comfort. The slide-on table extends the sewing area to the left of the needle, allowing large fabrics to be guided more easily and giving a better overview onto the sewing project. The most commonly used accessories are located in the looper cover, neatly arranged and ready to be used. The Cut-offs Bin not only holds the fabric cut-offs, but also serves as foot control storage. Two bright LED lights ensure a good view of your work area.
