Janome 1200D Professional - combined overlock/coverstitch

The Janome 1200D Professional provides all the tools needed to create great ready-to-wear garments. It is three machines in one: full featured Overlocker, Cover Hem/coverstitch, and Top Cover Hem, allowing you to sew a top and bottom hem simultaneously to create an industrial style cover hem.

It is versatile, with 20 pre-programmed stitches incorporating many flatlock, blanket and overlock stitches, as well as the chain stitch and coverstitch, some of which you would normally only exoect to find on a professional machine. It is 2, 3, 4, or 5 thread convertible, with a detailed threading chart located right on the machine, so the instructions will always be right in front of you! Threading is made straightforward with colour coded thread paths.

It’s not necessary to change the needle plate or foot for a rolled hem, and the upper looper system will automatically deactivate when top cover hem sewing is selected.

The top cover hem device give you the ability to sew a 5mm or a 2.5mm top cover hem as well as a bottom cover hem simultaneously. This allows you to produce a true industrial style cover hem.

The differential feed and stitch length dials are on the front of the machine for easy access, setting and reading. Janome engineering ensures seams on knits are wave and pucker free.

For added confidence the 1200D automatically selects the tension settings for each stitch as you select it, giving you the confidence that you will attain perfect results with ease.
