Open up a new world of possibilities with the Janome Memory Craft 550E Limited Edition embroidery machine, the perfect sewing companion to personalise projects. It’s easy and fast with embroidery speeds of up to 860 spm. It’s the companion your Janome sewing machine has been waiting for.
The built-in embroidery library contains 180 designs some of which are classics, floral alphabets, in-the- Hoop Monsters, and Sashiko designs. This machine also comes with 6 fonts, and can do 2 or 3 letter monogramming. Designs are easily imported through a USB and edited through the machine’s advanced on-screen editing functions.
The MC 550E comes with 4 embroidery hoops, including the new RE36b hoop (exclusive to the MC550E) with magnetic clips, which gives a huge embroidery field of 200 x 360mm. Also included is an extra-wide extension table giving you room for all your projects. This machine makes it easy to personalise, embellish and monogram home décor items, garments and accessories.
Designs can be easily imported using the USB key and edited on the LCD colour touch screen using the numerous editing options.Threading is so easy with the threading guide above the needle in conjunction with the superior needle threader. The automatic thread cutter, easily changed sewing speed, and anti-kink thread guidemake creating top quality designs straightforward.

Adjustable embroidery speed
The 550E is able to work with varying conditions by simply changing your embroidery sewing speed in the easy to access Settings Menu. Go slower with delicate metallic threads (400spm) or take it to the max (860spm) when filling in a large stitch intensive area.,
USB
Additional embroidery designs can easily be imported into the 550E via the USB port. You can create multiple folders to organise and save your designs.
