Enjoy pinpoint precision by seeing exactly where the needle will enter the fabric in every needle position. The Bernina Pinpoint Laser marks your start and travel points as you sew and embroider.

Creating has never been easier! With the new 4-Point Placement the positioning of your embroidery or quilting design is extremely simple and precise. This new function allows you to place your designs to exactly suit your project. Simply define four points on the fabric in the hoop and the design is placed proportionally or can be morphed to fit the created boundary.

WiFi allows you to transfer embroidery designs from your Bernina Embroidery Software 9 (optional) directly to your B 790 PRO e, or the other way around. And thanks
to the new Bernina Stitchout App, the embroidery process can be monitored on your smartphone. The B 790 PRO e connects with the app allowing you to monitor the status of your embroidery stitchout from any room in your house. The app notifies you when the machine needs your direct attention, like thread colour change, thread breakage or when the design is finished.

Quilt like a PRO. The new Customisable Quilt Designs (.bqm) bring the functionality of professional longarm quilting to your embroidery machine. Unlimited scaling possibilities, the ability to modify the stitches per inch (SPI) and enhanced quilt securing functions enable you to achieve perfect computerised quilting on your embroidery machine.

Easily align and distribute embroidery designs horizontally and vertically. Use Multi-line Lettering and Text Alignment to personalise your text placement.

New shape designer - Duplicate designs with one click and arrange them in your desired formation. Whether in a circle, square or heart, new and unique design combinations will emerge.

Use the new colour wheel to easily change the colours in your design to coordinate with your favourite colour scheme before you startembroidering.

Bernina Stich Regulator (BSR)

The BSR foot is more than just a presser foot; it produces neat, consistent stitching with stitches of precisely the same length while free-motion sewing. It reacts to the fabric's movement and adjusts the machine speed to match! It regulates perfect, equal-length straight and zigzag stitches at variable sewing speeds to give top quality results to your free-motion quilting.

Bernina Free Hand System (FHS)
With FHS you can raise or lower the presser foot while simultaneously lowering the feed dog without having to take your hands off the fabric, ideal for quilting

Programmable foot control
The foot control is programmable, allowing you to raise or lower the needle with a press of your heel.

Adaptive Thread Tension
The Bernina Adaptive Thread Tension system ensures the ideal thread tension as you sew, helping you to achieve perfect stitch quality on both sides of the fabric. After you set the thread tension for the thread and fabric, your machine continuously checks it as you sew, adjusting it unobtrusively and automatically whenever necessary, resulting in the finest sewing and embroidery quality, with no need to even press a button.

4-point Placement

Thread Away mode
Thread Away mode is a swift movement of the hoop that pulls most of the upper thread tails to the underside for clean embroidery results on the top

Invisible Secure & Smart Secure
Invisible Secure makes the perfected tie-on/off fomration completely invisible while Smart Secure adds tie-on/off stitches if none are pre-programmed. It's like having your own embroidery fairy!

On-screen design editing, with assistance
The B790 Plus e allows design edits directly on the screen during embroidery. Rotate, mirror, combine and rearrange with a simple touch of the screen. The Undo/Redo lets you easily go single steps back or forward while Group & Ungroup lets you edit all at once or indidivually. The Embroidery Consultant provides help, tips and tricks

Stitch Designer
Create your own stitches by drawing your idea straight onto the touch screen. With a click, the B790 Pro transforms your design into a stitch pattern or alters existing stitches as you wish. Save your very own stitch creations to expand your stitch library.

KickStart
The KickStart function allows quilting in a continuous sewing mode without having to keep constant pressure on the foot control. This allows you to relax your foot for more comfort when quilting for long periods of time. The function can easily be activated or deactivated on the touch screen.

WiFi Connectivity & Stitchout App
Since WiFi is enabled on the B 790 PRO, you can transfer designs from your BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 (optional extra) directly to the machine, or vice versa. And thanks to the new BERNINA Stitchout App, the embroidery process can be monitored on your smartphone remotely.
