Creating has never been easier! With the new 4-Point Placement the positioning of your embroidery or quilting design is extremely simple and precise. This new function allows you to place your designs to exactly suit your project. Simply define four points on the fabric in the hoop and the design is placed proportionally or can be morphed to fit the created boundary.

WiFi allows you to transfer embroidery designs from your Bernina Embroidery Software 9 (optional) directly to your B 790 PRO e, or the other way around. And thanks
to the new Bernina Stitchout App, the embroidery process can be monitored on your smartphone. The B 790 PRO e connects with the app allowing you to monitor the status of your embroidery stitchout from any room in your house. The app notifies you when the machine needs your direct attention, like thread colour change, thread breakage or when the design is finished.

Quilt like a PRO. The new Customisable Quilt Designs (.bqm) bring the functionality of professional longarm quilting to your embroidery machine. Unlimited scaling possibilities, the ability to modify the stitches per inch (SPI) and enhanced quilt securing functions enable you to achieve perfect computerised quilting on your embroidery machine.

Smart Drive Technology
The Bernina Smart Drive Technology (SDT) 7 series embroidery module turns an embroidery-capable Bernina sewing machine into an amazing embroidery machine, allowing precise and stunning embroidery results to be achieved in the blink of an eye.The new Smart Drive Technology gives an embroidery speed increased by up to 60%, with a smoother movement and less vibration and noise.

Bernina Stich Regulator (BSR)
The BSR foot is more than just a presser foot; it produces neat, consistent stitching with stitches of precisely the same length while free-motion sewing. It reacts to the fabric's movement and adjusts the machine speed to match! It regulates perfect, equal-length straight and zigzag stitches at variable sewing speeds to give top quality results to your free-motion quilting.

Bernina Free Hand System (FHS)
With FHS you can raise or lower the presser foot while simultaneously lowering the feed dog without having to take your hands off the fabric, ideal for quilting

Programmable foot control
The foot control is programmable, allowing you to raise or lower the needle with a press of your heel.

Adaptive Thread Tension
The Bernina Adaptive Thread Tension system ensures the ideal thread tension as you sew, helping you to achieve perfect stitch quality on both sides of the fabric. The KickStart function allows quilting in a continuous sewing mode without having to keep constant pressure on the foot control. This allows you to relax your foot for more comfort when quilting for long periods of time. The function can easily be activated or deactivated on the touch screen.

WiFi Connectivity & Stitchout App
Since WiFi is enabled on the B 790 PRO, you can transfer designs from your BERNINA Embroidery Software 9 (optional extra) directly to the machine, or vice versa.
