Janome Horizon Memory Craft 8200QCP SE

Part of a new generation of long-arm models, the Horizon Memory Craft 8200QCP Special Edition combines practicality with an exciting range of easy to use features  to help you create amazing sewing and quilting projects.
 
It has 170 stitches including 10 auto 1-step buttonholes, variable stitch length and width, some stitches can be elongated by up to 5 times, and there is a function to edit individual stitches and combinations.

This machine has an amazing 11" of work space to the right of the needle, making it ideal for bigger projects such as quilts. It is also well suited to precision sewing, with 91 needle positions.

Quilters will also love the specialised free motion quilting accessories inclkuded with the machine, the  built-in AcuFeed system for precise fabric handling , and easy change needle plate for enhanced straight stitch performance. The adjustable knee lift and extra high presser foot lift definitely make quilting easier

The Superior Feed Plus System (SFS+) features a unique 7 piece feed dog system for smooth sewing.

The high resolution LCD touch screen and 5 bright LED lights make sewing easy at any time of the day or night.

One Step™ Plate Converter
Simply press a button to release one plate, then snap a new one in place – it takes just seconds, with no screwdrivers required! The enhanced straight stitch plate allows precise needle adjustment for scant ¼” seams. When using lightweight fabrics or piecing quilts, the straight stitch needle plate whioch comes with the MC 8200QCP SEmakes all the difference. The system also has a sensor which allows only an appropriate stitch to be sewn with the straight stitch needle plate in place, so no need to worry about breaking a needle!

The SFS+ system features a unique 7 piece feed dog system that stays parallel as it moves up and down, maintaining constant contact with the fabric. This “flat feed” technology provides better control, whether sewing forward or backward

Large work area plus extension table
The 280mm (11”) of work area to the right of the needle is a pleasure to work on, especially for larger projects such as quilts, and once the large extension table is attached, the total work space is significantly increased.
