If you're looking for a technique to make your projects stand out in a crowd, then Baby Lock’s Embellisher is the machine for you! Sewers, quilters, crafters and embroidery lovers all appreciate the extra touch that this machine can bring to any project. Even a novice with little sewing experience will easily be able to create decorative accessories or small gifts, simply using some colourful fabric remnants and woollen yarns or ribbons, with no sewing thread required.

The Baby Lock Embellisher uses a needle felting technique to create incredible detail and texture using absolutely no thread! You can work on any existing base material you may have in store. The Embellisher uses 12 barbed felting needles which move up and down to mesh the individual fabrics, wool threads, yarns or similar materials together, using their own fibres. Hairy wool or merino wool are the best materials for felting. Organza lets you create amazing effects. However, you can also use woollen fabrics, denim, silk and many other kinds of material with your Baby Lock Embellisher.

You can move your fabric freely under the needles and create a wide variety of different decorative effects. You can use all 12 needles, or easily remove any of the needles for detailed work. The clear finger guard protects your hands from the needle without blocking your visibility, and the built-in cloth presser stabilizes fabric for control and precision while free-motion embellishing.

The yarn guide feeds yarn from the stand via the yarn port directly to the middle of the needle head, leaving your hands free to move the fabric in any direction or guide the yarn. There’s a stand to hold yarns or ribbons to make handling your projects easy, and the height-adjustable foot also has a ribbon guide, which will hold and control ribbon up to 10mm wide while sewing.

The free arm feature gives you the versatility to work on closed or tubular items as well as flat surfaces, simply by removing the extension table. Removing the extension table also reveals the trim box, which collects felting residues, for easy emptying/cleaning. There is also useful built-in accessory storage.
